Packaging design is more than a front-panel visual. It must help the product stand out, keep mandatory information legible and place the design correctly on the real dieline. A contest lets you compare different visual systems for the same product and brief.
What belongs in a packaging brief?
- Packaging format: box, pouch, bag, bottle, jar or shipping box.
- Size and dieline: the manufacturer's cutting template, bleed and printing method.
- Content hierarchy: product name, benefit, quantity, barcode and mandatory legal areas.
- SKU count: the number of flavour, scent, volume or product variants.
- Delivery: editable source, CMYK print PDF and product mockup.
If you only need one product application alongside a logo contest, choose the packaging or label delivery add-on in the wizard. A separate packaging contest is the better scope when you need independent packaging ideas and several creative directions.
