A label carries brand identity, product name, benefit, quantity, barcode and mandatory information on a small surface. It must therefore do more than look attractive: it needs to stand out at a distance, remain legible up close and work on the chosen print material.
Build the label brief correctly
- Surface and size: bottle, jar, box, pouch or direct product application.
- Label structure: front/back, wraparound, single-piece or multiple labels.
- Mandatory content: product facts, ingredients, warnings, barcode and certifications.
- Material: coated paper, kraft, transparent, metallic or custom cut.
- Variants: number of flavours, scents, colours or sizes.
A single product label can be added to an existing logo contest as an extra delivery. Start a separate label contest when you need independent label directions or a system for a product family.
